Sony Ads

I created these social media ads in my Systems Design class. The assignment was to choose a product to create a carousel of Instagram ads for. I chose a Sony MD player from the mid-2000s, because I found them aesthetically pleasing and they align with my interests in older technology. I wanted to incorporate natural imagery to highlight the colors of the product, so I integrated photos of leaves, water, and rose petals. I used bold copywriting to catch the attention of the viewer on the first slide, and then gave more information on the following slides. For this project, we made two separate versions. The second version of my project is much darker and features a textured background to add depth to the composition.
